CredAvenue’s Marketplace has undergone a strategic upgrade that will allow investors and customers to access loan deals, express interest, and manage all of this on a unified global platform. Let’s take a peek at what’s new at CredAvenue.

CredAvenue’s Marketplace now brings together the lender and borrowers on one page for a unified experience in managing Expression of Interest across all CredAvenue products on the CredLoan, CredPool and Plutus platforms. It enables both parties to track the updates to the expression of interest, approve/disapprove the interest and manage the expression of interest on open and live deals, all from a single global page.

Earlier, investors expressing interest in borrowers would do so without indicating which deal they would like to work on. The onus of following up on the deal was offline, led by sales based on the expression of interest, and managing expression of interests was also on the users even as it was spread across different product pages.

Let’s look at the details of the upgrade.

This upgrade that the platform has now undertaken helps investors and borrowers to track the expression of interest across products, right from the user profile.

For the Investor:

The lender can express their interest in a borrower’s deal or profile by simply clicking the ‘Express Interest’ option on the client list page. This will display the customer’s details and live deals too. All the Customer’s Loan and Pool deals released to the investor will be listed. The investor may alternately click on the “I’m not choosing a deal” option to Express Interest on the Customer profile alone.

Investors may Express Interest in one or more Pool and Loan deals by selecting the deals, and can also Express Interest from the deal details page of any Pool or Loan deal.

For the Borrower:

Consequently, the customer is notified that a potential investor is interested in financing their debt. The unified page accessible right from their user profile will help the customer get a complete picture of all the expressions of interest that their deals across the product platforms have received.

The customer may review, approve or reject, or put on hold the expressions of interest from the global page itself, without having to individually visit the separate product pages.

One highlight of the upgrade is that once a particular deal is approved by the borrower, it will automatically give the investor access to the customer’s credit reports and previous transaction details regarding the particular deal (if available).

This way, both the customer and the investor get updates on all deals in real-time on one page. The most significant advantage this holds is collating everything on a single thread. Instead of each interest generating a new thread, all interests are unified into one update for ease of access for the customer as well as the investor. This also goes a long way in enhancing the user experience around the expression of interest and promotes meaningful engagement between the parties about the deals and products within the online space itself.

In addition to this, the CedAvenue update in Order Management System will allow its users to access a common page to track everything from deal initiation all the way to the post-settlement process.

Once the customer has created a deal, they will all get listed under Pool deals. The investor will gain access and can follow it once the customer expresses interest in the customer’s Pool deal.

Customers and Investors can both access the Order Management Page by clicking on the Orders icon available in the UI.

All the changes, updates and steps involved in Pool’s journey will be listed on the Order Management page. Any action undertaken by the borrower or the investor on any listed deal may be tracked on the unified Order Management page. For clarity and ease of tracking, the action owner will be displayed alongside the action undertaken.

The best part is that pending actions for the current user too will be displayed and the corresponding navigation also is provided for quick access and implementation. The user may simply follow through with the suggested navigation to get the ball rolling on the deal.

NOTE: Most deal steps are auto-updated upon completion. However, offline steps undertaken by either party may be updated by the product users from the Deal status page.

Upon completion of the deal, the Order Management page will be displayed as below:
